History
Tarleplast is one of the leading companies in the production of PET preforms, single- and two-component caps and shrink film in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
In addition to its polymer division, the company is also engaged in metallurgy — operating its own production of steel pipes and light steel thin-walled structures (LSTS), as well as specializing in the manufacturing of roofing and wall sandwich panels.
The establishment of the cooperative "Shirin under Agroprom" in 1989 marked the foundation of the company. It was the first of its kind in Uzbekistan and remains a pioneer in its field. The company operates under a B2B model, providing high-quality products to clients — most of whom belong to the agro-industrial and food sectors.
In 2000, based on the existing cooperative, a private firm named Plasteks was established, specializing in plastic products. By the end of 2003 on its foundation was created Tarleplast and has since become an industry leader in Uzbekistan.
In 2001, the company became the first in Uzbekistan to install PET preform manufacturing equipment from the Italian company SIPA.

In 2003, the company expanded its operations and added two units of PET preform manufacturing equipment from HUSKY — a supplier whose machinery is used by global companies such as Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Nestlé, Magna, B&D, Greiner, Apple.

At the end of 2003, the Black Sea Fleet 'PLASTEKS' together with the American company TARLETON HOLDINGS LLC formed the joint venture 'TARLEPLAST' LLC, which is currently the leader in the production of PET preforms and caps for them in the Uzbekistan market.
